It is simply ridiculous how consistently incredible this book is! If you are a fan of the comic book medium and you are not reading saga you seriously need to rectify this! Issue #44 puts us back on track with this truly wonderful beautifully bizarre epic as our band of misfits continue their story and their quest for freedom all the while encountering more than they bargained for along the way with a shocking cliffhanger that will leave you begging for the next issue!
Cable continues his crazy time travel quest in issue two to hunt down his ever elusive quarry who leaves a trail of blood and an arsenal of mysterious futuristic weaponry in his wake. This is a really simple book to read with minimal dialogue and lots of action and colourful splash pages of well executed art. Writer James Robinson is clearly taking the minimal approach to this book and letting the art speak for itself in telling this story which is totally fine by me as it feels like you are soaking up the atmosphere in each of the different locations and time periods like the most awesome road trip you will never get to go on.
