Every Avengers: Doomsday Trailer Released So Far

Steve Rogers in Avengers

By Dan Bibby

[Updated January 13th, 2026]
Avengers: Doomsday has finally started to release some official trailers after months of speculation and rumors. We finally have something official to hold onto when it comes to Marvel's upcoming crossover event for the ages. While it's frustrating that we're being drip-fed the various teasers, I suppose it's better than the internet being flooded with quite so much AI slop pretending to promote the movie.

The first real Doomsday trailers were attached to the cinematic release of 2025's Avatar: Fire and Ash. This decision drew criticism from fans, but at least the teasers have also gradually being making their way online via official channels. The admittedly short clips have revealed glimpses of the exciting return of beloved Marvel characters, not all of whom originated in the MCU age.

The Return Of Steve Rogers

Everyone was already pretty sure Chris Evans was coming back as Steve Rogers, but it was still a relief to have it confirmed via the first Avengers: Doomsday trailer. Last seen as 2019's Avengers: Endgame drew to a close, the upcoming sequel will need to do some cautious writing for Evans' character so his happy ending with Hayley Atwell's Peggy Carter isn't undone. He comes with a lot of plot armor this time out, but it's just great to have everybody's favorite Captain America back in action.

Thor's First Appearance Since Love & Thunder

This is one of Avengers: Doomsday's least surprising returning characters so far, as Thor can come back for the upcoming movie without any kind of cerebral twist or multiverse manipulation. Regardless, it's still great to see the version of Hemsworth's character who's filled with intense purpose, rather than being a laugh-a-minute doofus who worked well in 2017's Ragnarok, but was incredibly annoying by the time of 2022's Love and Thunder. In comparison to Steve, Thor's Doomsday arc will probably be a fairly pedestrian continuation of his larger storyline.

The X-Men Are Back!

The X-Men's Doomsday trailer features Patrick Stewart's Professor X, Ian McKellen's Magneto, and James Marsden's Cyclops. Their presence among the movie's cast has long been common knowledge, and they aren't the only X-Men making the jump from the Fox universe into the MCU. Still, seeing them in action rather than just talking about their return really brings back the warm and fuzzies of watching those Fox movies when Marvel movies were more of a rare treat rather than a fact of life. It remains to be seen if these are the EXACT characters from the live-action X-Men franchise, but I hope they are.

Wakanda Four-Ever?

The Wakandans and the Fantastic Four collide in a teaser that brings Ebon Moss-Bachrach's the Thing into contact with Letitia Wright's Shuri and her nation's monarch. Like the other Doomsday trailers that preceded it, this one also reveals very little about the upcoming movie's plot. However, with Wakanda and Black Panther making their Marvel debut in a 1966 Fantastic Four comic, this is a very fitting pairing. It's also cool to see two very tonally different projects cross paths like this.

More Avengers: Doomsday Trailers Are Set To Arrive Soon

Doctor Doom in The Fantastic Four
Marvel is going to bleed this marketing run dry, and why shouldn't they? There are so many characters expected to appear in Avengers: Doomsday that there's more than excitement to cash in on. Other trailers are surely on their way that will share far more details about the Avengers' imminent showdown with Robert Downey Jr.'s Doctor Doom. It's anyone's guess what will be revealed next. However, there have been whispers of a more substantial Avengers: Doomsday trailer dropping in the Super Bowl.
