DEPT. H #12

My first pick of the week is issue twelve of Dept. H. This claustrophobic deep sea horror continues to be a gripping and intriguing read with challenging unconventional mixed media artwork. Colourist Sharlene Kindt elevates this book to a new level with her gorgeous watercolours and surreal yet subtle pallets. 

SPIDER GWEN #18

​​My second pick of the week is issue eighteen of Spider-Gwen. The spider man crossover story arc comes to an end in a crazy way in this colourful conclusion. Writer Jason Latour has a lot of fun in this issue bringing the wacky back in an old school funny book style.
