GRASS KINGS #3

My first pick of the week is issue three of Grass Kings. Visually this book is absolutely stunning with gorgeous watercolours and atmospheric inks that fit the tone yet juxtapose the dark sinister themes that layer this gripping story. Illustrator Tyler Jenkins is quickly become one of my favourite artists.

ROCK CANDY MOUNTAIN #2

My second pick of the week is issue two of Rock Candy Mountain. This book is absolutely hilarious and so much fun! Another Image Comics instant classic that you should definitely jump on now! 

ALL-NEW WOLVERINE #20

The race against time continues in the latest issue of all new wolverine. Laura tries to contain the deadly alien virus that is threatening the world as the mystery unfolds. Writer Tom Taylor is still going strong on this title by upping the stakes and maintaining the quality of action and humour that makes this book a nice easy read and one that you want to keep picking up every month. 

REGRESSION #1

My fourth and final pick of the week is issue one of Regression. Not since Wytches has a book creeped me out and intrigued me so much! Writer Cullen Bunn starts off strong in this debut issue penning a terrifyingly gruesome tale of a hallucinating man traumatised by his sick visions which leads to a jaw dropping conclusion that leaves you desperate to read the next issue.
