​DARK FANG #5

Explosive and ingenious conclusion to the first arc of this truly fantastic series! Definitely an early runner for my comic book series of the year and will wait with baited breath patiently for four months for the next issue! Writer Miles Gunter has conceived one of the most unique and genuinely awesome vampire stories in recent memory and deserves to get recognition for his fantastic work on this book!

MIGHTY THOR #705

What an epic and truly fitting end to a fantastic Thor. In this penultimate issue we see Jane Foster fight in the most courageous way and paying the ultimate price. Artist Russell Dauterman absolutely shines as per usual and captures the emotion and action in the stunning way he always does.

BATMAN #43

Another enjoyable issue from Tom King. Interesting conclusion to a fun little story arc. And Harley Quinn was written perfectly!

​BATMAN TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES II #5 (OF 6)

The action keeps on coming in the penultimate issue in this 6 issue mini series. Volume 2 of this crossover has not been quite as good as the first one in my opinion but has been a really fun read all the same. Teaming Foot Clan up with bane was a masterstroke too.

Now this is more like it! The new creative team has well and truly breathed new life into this book as we get a really interesting story arc set up and some great character development that has been evidently lacking in recent issues. Having Hope Summers back is so great too! 

​SPIDER-GWEN #30

This series has taken quite the wacky turn! After slipping into another parallel dimension Gwen is faced with her doppelganger and confusion ensues! Writer Jason Latour is pulling out some deep cuts and ambitious concepts here and so far is pulling it off!
