SEX CRIMINALS #21

After a 5 month hiatus Sex Criminals is back and everything is completely different as we join our protagonists in real time after all these months later! After the break up in last issue we now see how Jon and Suzie are faring in their new lives without each other. Writer Matt Fraction is back on form here as usual with his cleverly smutty wit and realistic dialogue.

​BATGIRL #19

Batgirl continues to be a fun light read full of action and humour. In this new story arc we are introduced to a brand new mystery with ties back to the super cool annual from last year. Artist Chris Wildgoose has been fucking fantastic on this book and we are sorry to see him go!

PHOENIX RESURRECTION  THE RETURN OF JEAN GREY #4 (OF 5)

​The plot thickens and more is revealed in chapter 4 of the return of Jean Grey. We discover what exactly is gong on with Jean and the Phoenix and just how dire the consequences of them uniting again could be. Writer Matthew Rosenberg has crafted a pretty cool story here with surreal and creepy undertones that make for an enjoyable and interesting read.

​DOOMSDAY CLOCK #3 (OF 12)

Being able to read a new Watchmen book every month is a real delight! And having that new story cross over into the DC Comics Universe is a crazy concept that seems to be working! Writer Geoff Johns is really throwing us for a loop here throwing out more questions than he is answering and keeping us hooked and waiting with baited breath for the next issue.
