DEPT. H #14

My first pick of the week is issue 14 of Dept. H. This stylistic trippy science fiction horror is certainly not for everyone but is definitely worth checking out as it had me hooked from a few issues back. Colourist Sharlene Kindt is on point as usual elevating this book with her gorgeous watercolours creating a beautifully unnerving ambience and surreal atmosphere to match the abstract artwork and intense dialogue. 

ELEKTRA #4

This was a lot of fun. Not your typical classic Elektra story but if you feel in the mood for an easy read full of crazy action and bright colours then this is the book for you. Writer Matt Owens is clearly having a good time writing this different take on the character and enjoying having some creative freedom by getting wacky!
