SAGA #45

No prizes for guessing my first pick of the week! Anyone that reads comics knows that Saga is one of the best things on the shelves right now and has been ever since it started and it shows no signs of wavering anytime soon. Artist Fiona Staples is on form in this issue treating us to some truly stunning work.

CABLE #3

Cable learns more about his enemies plan in issue three. As we continue to jump through time our one constant is the stoic cable and this tone is captured well here. Writer James Robinson is penning a solid script delivering an exciting cable story that fans will continue to pick up.

ICEMAN #3

This book has been the surprise hit of the year for me. Last issue was amazing and this one is just as good. Writer Sina Grace is handling this story arc perfectly and captures the essence of bobby drake and what it is like to live his life.

WEAPON X #6

Weapons of mutant destruction comes to a climactic close in this penultimate part in the crossover story arc. Action packed and lots of big dumb fun. Artist Marcelo Borstel flexes his muscles and treats us to some great looking fight scenes.
