Part 4 of Gwenom is absolutely phenomenal. Regardless of whether you are a Spider fan or not you need to be reading this! Colourist Rico Renzi makes this book look absolutely stunning and without a doubt one of the best looking books on the shelves right now.

​DARK NIGHTS METAL #5 (OF 6)

Thrilling and epic! This book is just fucking fantastic! Writer Scott Snyder continues to hit it out of the park with metal and looks to set make a home run with the entire series in which he has certainly showcased some of his best work so far. 

THE SILENCER #1

Think Kill Bill meets Total Recall. This was an unexpected hit for me that turned out to be much more enjoyable than anticipated. Artist John Romita Jr can be really hit and miss in general but his style seems to work really well with this book.

​PHOENIX RESURRECTION  THE RETURN OF JEAN GREY #5 (OF 5)

​The offbeat mini series comes to a surprisingly emotional and touching conclusion in this issue. What could have easily been another throwaway bombastic event with gratuitous fight scenes and little substance actually turned out to be something different and cool with deep cuts and is definitely worth a read if you are a long time X fan. Artist Leinil Yu showcased some fantastic work in this issue that needs to be seen to be appreciated.
