ICEMAN #5

Iceman is hands down one of my books of the year and issue 5 is one of the best comics i have read in the past 20 years. This incredibly poignant issue almost brought me to tears. Writer Sina Grace is without a doubt one of the most talented writers in the business right now. 

​ASTONISHING X-MEN #3

Old Man Logan takes centre stage in the theatre of the Shadow King in the astral plane. This was an enjoyable issue with lots to satisfy every X-Fan. Artist Ed McGuiness impressed me with his rendering of the characters.

CHAMPIONS #12

In this issue we get some character development with newest member of the team Cyclops and it is handled beautifully. As usual this book hits all the marks with thoughtful storytelling and humorous character dialogue. Writer Mark Waid is so good. 

​STAR WARS ROGUE ONE ADAPTATION #6 (Of 6)

Simply stunning. An incredible end to a fantastic series. Colourist Rachelle Rosenberg is the stand out in this book with some beautiful colouring capturing the emotional ending.

STAR WARS DARTH VADER #5

Absolutely fantastic! This is shaping up to be one of the best series of the year and is certainly one of the best Star Wars books on the shelves right now. Colourist David Curiel showcases some fantastic work here making the pages sing like a John Williams score.

JOURNEY TO STAR WARS THE LAST JEDI CAPTAIN PHASMA #1 (Of 4)

This mini series reveals what happens to Captain Phasma at the end of The Force Awakens movie leading directly in to The Last Jedi. And this book looks beautiful! Colourist Andres Mossa really impressed me in this issue making Phasma all shiny and bad ass and everything else look super gorgeous and a treat for the eyes.
